Julius Katz Julius Katz my uncle was born into an Orthodox Jewish home in Guxhagen, Hesse, Germany on March 3, 1894 to Samuel Katz his father and Janchen Katz (nee Katz) his mother. She died on Dec. 12 1898 when he was four years old. On March 17 1937 in Berlin Germany, he married Friederike Salzberg who was born on Dec 8 1895 in Wilna Poland.
