I am searching for the parents of my ancestor James Gore who was born May 27, 1813 in Clark County, IN. The Gore forefathers came from Kentucky. James Gore married Henritta Berthina Settle (The Settles came from Frederick County, VA.) in Burlington, Iowa on Aug. 12, 1841. They emigrated to Oregon in 1852 and filed a Donation Land Claim May 1853. James and Henrietta had 12 children. Any information would be most appreciated. Thank you. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
