Searching for Irish roots of Simon O'Mahoney (now Mahoney) from Co. Clare, born 1835, sailed to Canada with and married Jane Carey O'Dea from Cooraclare, Co. Clare. She was born May 10, 1849; her brother was Joseph O'Dea (1827-1888) who married Anne Morrissey. Their parents were John O'Dea and Jane (Fannie) Carey. Simon and Jane lived in St. Mary's, PA, then moved to Spotsylvania Co. and Culpeper Co. (Mitchells) VA after the Civil War. 1910 US Census says they immigrated in 1867.
