I birthed a son born March 20, 1967 at Northwest Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. My boyfriend was hispanic and I am white. Dr. VanNatta delivered this child and he was adopted by a Catholic family, I believe that was arranged by Dr. VanNatta and our lawyer but I don't remember the lawyers name. I think the last name started with a B and he was located in the Central National Bank Building in downtown Des Moines as far as I can remember. This child was adopted out because we were young and could not provide a proper home or life for him. We felt this was the best way to handle this situation. I would think this child would have been born with dark hair, dark eyes and a darker skin tone than mine but I didn't look at this child as I didn't want to become attached and have a more difficult decision than I had already endured. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
