I am looking for information, regarding a William J. "Bill" Smallwood. He was my late Aunt's father. I do know that, his year of birth, was roughly around 1864. I believe that, he may have been born in Tennessee. His son-in-law, told me that, he died in 1936. I assume that, this was in Tennessee. I did find that, he married his second wife, Fannie May Suddarth, in about 1923, in Sumner County, Tennessee. Fannie was born in 1904. Thus, making Bill fourty years older then Fannie. I believe that, Fannie was only about 18 years old, when they married. I also know that, both Bill and Fannie had three daughters. Two of which, are still alive. I am looking for the missing information regarding his first wife and children. I was only given of one name, of his previous children, from his first marriage. Her name was Lilly Smallwood. I understand that, there were several children, from this marriage. If this helps, I was told that, Bil owned a grocery store, the next town over. Lastly, I was told that, both Bill and Fannie, are buried in Bushs Chapel Cemeter, in Gallitan, Tennesse. Any further information, would be appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
