I am researching Fannin(g)/Fannon family from Drung Parish, Co. Cavan, Ireland. Two daughters of Francis and Ann(e) Fannin (nee Wilson) emigrated to NZ in 1873. Rebecca Elizabeth was with her husband, John Smith, and their daughter Margaret Ann. Travelling with them was Rebecca's sister, also Margaret Ann, who apparently married Benjamin Poole in NZ. In NZ they settled near relatives, Mary and William Wilson of Pukeatua (now known as Dairy Flat, just north of Auckland). Francis and Anne's son (also Francis) may have emigrated to Australia.
