My great-grandmother was Margaret Love - her maiden name. She was born ca.1840. My grandfather said his mother was born in County Antrim, Ireland. The few documents I have found concerning Margaret list her birth country as England. Margaret first married Thomas Bulmer - before 1867. They had one daughter, Louisa Ann Bulmer who was born in March 1867. Thomas died when Louisa was a baby. Margaret then married my great-grandfather, James Alanson Young. They married in 1869 in America. They had four children all born in Essex, Connecticut - Christopher, born in 1870; Alexander Hannah, born in 1872; Caroline Bartow born in 1874 and William Ashley, born in 1883. Their youngest, William, was my maternal grandfather. Margaret died in the Bronx, New York, in 1921. I am looking for information concerning Margaret's ancestry and just where she was born.
