I was born on Aug. 29, 1974 in Ft. Worth Texas. I was adopted through the Edney Gladney Home for teenage moms. All info I have on my birth parents are that mom was 17yrs. old, still in high school, loved to decorate cakes, she was 5'1'', 95lbs, brown eyes and brown hair. Dad was 6'1''(?), 19 yrs old, in college, blonde hair, blue eyes, loved to play pool. Nationalites are English, German and French. From what I understand this was a closed door adoption.I have registered with the adoption agency but still no match. I have health issues, have ever since 13yrs. I am now 34yrs and have a 14 yr old son. My adoptive parents were so grateful for my birth mother to have given me to them. I had a great childhood. My adoptive mother died of cancer with in 2 monts of being diagnosed. She wrote me a letter which I found cleaning out her belongings...she wants me to find my birth mom and tell her thank you for giving her a beautful daughter. I desperately want to find my birth mother. Unfortunetly, most ways to go about searching cost alot of money. I do respect birth mom/dad privacy if not able to meet, but would love to know about health history for me and my son!
