Searching for information on the Munnelly family who resided in Tullaghanduff, Belmullet, Co. Mayo in 19th Century. Thomas Munnelly (my Great-grandfather) was born here on 1st October 1865. He had brothers Dennis, John, Andrew, Anthony and Michael, and sister Mary. All brothers emmigrated to England (Co. Durham) before 1900. The sister Mary we believe stayed in Co. Mayo and married John Boylan or Boylon possibly of Ballina Co. Mayo. Their father was John Munnelly and mother was Mary Carolan. At some point (possibly at the time of emmigration to England) the family name changed to Manley - all of the next generation of the family took the name Manley. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
