I am searching for my birth parent's and or sibling. My birth mother's name is Doreen May Finch(maiden name)her married name is or was Smith. She was an only child. She is or was married to John Arthur Smith but was seperated from him for 5 years at the time of my birth. He is not my birth father. She was born in England and was 27-28 years old and living in Canada when I was born. She has a daughter that is 7 years older than me. The Finch family residence at the time of my birth in June 1962 was 1436 Coldray or Coldrey Ave, Ottawa 3, Ontario. My birth name was Barbie or Barbara Jane Smith. I was born at the Grace Hospital in Ottawa, ON.,Canada. My birth father was 29 years old at the time of my birth and he was married. He was 5'10" tall, weighed 175 lbs. He had blonde hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. He had no siblings. He was employed in the Armed Forces. I don't think he was aware of the pregnancy. His Father held an executive position with a large communications company. His parents were retired and living outside of Canada. Shortly after I was born, my birth mother's estranged husband contacted her and wanted to reconcile as he was being moved overseas. I don't know if the reconciliation ever took place. My birth Grandmother was 52 at the time of my birth in 1962, she died at the age of 76 from heart problems. My birth Grandfather died of cancer when he was 47 years old.
