Suda Lenora Ingram, my mother, was listed in the 1910 US census as living in Spartanburg,SC and working as a "looper" in a local cotton mill. Her father, Gaston Ingram, was also listed there in the same occupation and location. Are there known records of cotton mills in the Spartanburg area with lists of workers names with employment history, home addresses, etc.?
