I'm looking for any information on "Stone" familys from Habersham Georgia. A william M Stone was born somewhere in S.C. around 1814 and a time later moved to Haberham Ga. He married a Julia Milly Shirly from N.C. They had several children. One was Wilburn H Stone, who is my Great Grandpa, he was born in 1858. William m Stone also had a son named Solomon D Stone, who in Aug. of 1861 joined the 24th Reg. company "K" Mcmillian Guards, he was killed on Nov of 1861, it is my understanding only people of Irish decent were in the Mcmillian Guard.
