Thomas Levy/Levey/Lever/Leaver arrived in Sydney, Australia, on 28.12.1809 on board "Dromadery" as a Garrison Soldier for Gov. Lachlan MacQuarie. Whilst in Sydney he fathered a daughter to Bridget ?. The daughter Ann, was born 7.2.1820 in Sydney. Bridget died in Sydney in 1826 after which Thomas placed Ann in an orphanage. Bridget got into quite a lot of trouble with the law along with Mary Redman/Redmond & died aged 26. Ann went on to marry 1. John Hurley, 2. Thomas Kelly, 3. William Lindord/Lynford. Ann & John Hurley are my ggg(x3)great grandparents. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
