Researching the Joseph WHEELER families. Joseph (1833-1904) was born in Gravely, Cambridgeshire England the son of John WHEELER Jr. and Elizabeth GILLINGS. His first wife was Nancy Catherine BRATTON (1846-1877) daughter of Lemmons BRATTON/BRATTIAN and Sybil COOPER married in 1865 Onowa, Monona, Iowa and his second wife Ann Elizabeth SPRAGUE (1857-?) daugher of Richard Demont SPRAGUE and Burniece WEBB. Joseph WHEELER and Nancy BRATTON had the following children: John Lemmons (1866-1935) md Charlotte DANSIE, Joseph William (1868-1870), Sibyl Elizabeth (1870-1947) md Joseph William ROSEVEAR, George Thomas (1872-1906), Eliza Alice (1874-1933) md Greenleaf BLODGETT Jr. Joseph WHEELER and Ann SPRAGUE had the following children: Joseph Henry (1881-1883), Sarah Catharine (1883-?) md John Thomas COOK, Charles Wells (1885-1940), James Moroni (1887-1963) md Clarabelle WARREN, and Warren Washington (1889-1891). Joseph was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have histories, pictures, sources and more complete dates to exchange.
