I am searching for information on Jesse Clements (b.1780-1790 in Maine) and his family who moved to Michigan from Geaugua Co. Ohio between 1851 and 1860 where Jesse was killed with an axe by his oldest son. Jesse had a son named Cyrus(b.1830) who had a son named Eugene (b.1851) who was my great grandfather. Eugene Clements married Eva Belden, daughter of Milton Belden who also moved to Michigan from Ohio.
