I'm looking for someone that might have information on a Jannet(Jeannie) Carruthers. She was from Scotland, and came to Canada around 1909 (give or take a few years) She had a little boy, who's name I do not know. She died in Montreal I beileve in the 70's. I did not know her, but she is my long lost Great Grandmother. Her Mother was Gracie Lindsay and her father was Samuel Carruthers. Both from the Dumfries area in Scotland, they both lived and died there. She had siblings: Agnes/Mary/Gracie/Thomas/ Her parents were married in Tinwald: 1875. Samuel died 1934 in Newbigging Dumfries. Her son was given up for adoption, I don't have dates or any information other than that. I would love to find information about her and her family.
