Gleason's from the upper New York area...Washington county, Salem, Glens falls. I have searched my family back to those areas. And then hit a dead end. With my gg grandfather. Michael Gleason born 1820 somewhere in Ireland his wife was Melinda she was born in Ny. in 1834 they lived in Salem township according to the 1860 US. federal Census. it list a post office as Shushan. Ny....thank you for any help
