Re: Timothy Stanley, b. 1755 Goshen, CT, d. Smyrna or German, Chenango, NY. Submitters have given this information as belonging to this link in my Stanley line. My Timothy Stanley was the son of Timothy Stanley and Mary Hopkins. That Timothy Stanley died on a prison ship in NY Harbor in 1776. I would like to know if anyone knows of this Timothy Stanley. His year and pob are confirmed in his Rev War pension application, but no family data, so I am at a loss as to how to prove that he is my Timothy Stanley who married Lucy Woodruff in Litchfield, CT.
