I have come from a huge Ivey family background. My great grandfather was one of 14 children, and he had an Uncle, George Washington Ivey with 16 children. I traced my roots to the 1700's in North Carolina, from there to Mississippi, then to Texas, Half the family moved back to Mississippi and to Georgia. Look at the iveyclann tree I started and let me know if you are kin. Its at http://www.iveyclann.com. I am trying to find a rumor that we could have been from Ireland and when migrated to the US they changed the spelling from Ivie, to Ivey. I would like to listen to any feedback. Thank you. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
