Pictures found in Amsterdam! Several years ago a friend of mine has found in Amsterdam some old pictures. I don’t know who the owner was but some of the pictures have names written on the back. Maybe there is someone who recognises one of the names of knows family or relatives. I think that most of the pictures are made before 1950-60. There is one envelope which has the return address: 320 E 4300S, Ogden-Utah and it was written to a Mr en Mrs Capp Racks in Bellevue-Washington with a date of 1963 Utah. There is no letter in the envelope. The pictures with names are: Elder Spencer H (?) Kimball Thatcher, 1915 Arizona Elder Kimball and Hawke (two ladies) Several pictures with the name (Cap) Ricks A picture of a baby and written on the back: September 28, 1951 6 months old A picture of a girl (probably 20 years old) and on the back is written Nelson There is also a paper clipping from a newspaper which mentions: to college. Miss Shirley Nelson, daughter of Mrs. J. Edwin Nelson is leaving this evening for Columbus, Mo. To attend Stephens College where she will take a course in textiles and designing. She was graduated from Ogden high school last June. Two young children with a basket and an Easter bunny and on the picture are written: Going Eastering Janet + Doug.
