Looking for information about a Helen R. Ritchey, b. 1898, d. 1973. Her son's death record lists her birthplace as New York, which may or may not be true. She married at age 16 to an Adlai S. Lilly in Richmond, Virginia and divorced him in 1930 after having two sons. Soon afterward she married an artist Daniel Burroughs, whom I believe to have been born 4 Sep 1897 and whom I also believe died Sep 1969. Helen died in San José, Santa Clara, California and worked mostly as a social worker. There were stories that she lived in a Mexican convent for a period in her early life while her parents worked for a logging company, but it is still hearsay. ^ Any information about siblings or parents would be appreciated magnificently. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
