I am searching for my birth mother and birth brother. I was born on April 2, 1976 at St. Rita's Hospital in Sydney Cape Breton. My birth mother had a son (born in 1974) whom she was raising in her parents home. She was of the protestant faith, and her heritage was English/Ukranian. She had 7 brothers and sisters. One sibling had diabetes and was on insulin pills. She was 5'2" in height, strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. My birth mother was 19 years old in 1976. My birth father had been married and divorce,he was 34 years old in 1976, he was 5'4", black hair, olive complexion and greenish eyes. He was of Hungarian descent. My birth name was Michelle?? I was released to the Antigonish Diocese in May of 1976. I was adopted by a great family from Antigonish. My adoptive father was a doctor. My case workers name was Agnes Kennedy.
