maragret acree- acree was there fathers name-she would be about 60-her brother is 62 and he thinks she is a yr are two younger.they both were in the faith de pelchin orphanage when they were very young-mother and dad are dead and lived in livingston-the brother ellis a Acree-was located by his aunt and went to live with her-his sister was already gone-he has been looking for many yrs.-I am gathering all info on parents and everything he can remember-ill update later-she is his only sibling-new update-the fathers name was ellis carter acree- born in sour lake tx 0n 09-26-09-died on 05-02-1986 lived in livingston tx on houston st--the mother was mary alice maher(maiden name)acree-the son thinks she died in galveston and buried in galveston-she was born in new york-she died 10 yrs are so before the dad-she was a alcoholic and in and out of brazos valley sanitarium in grimes county-the brothers name is ellis maher acree-born 1-21-1947-in navasota-in grimes county- in the sanitarium-and later put in orphanage-maragret and ellis were given the mothers maiden name for there middle name.(maher)the last he remembered of his sister she was about 3-and adopted shortly after that.there was not a whole lot remembered about the mother and every corner i try i get a dead end-cant even get a death certificate are anything on her.maragret was adopted from and at the time would of been maragret maher acree-help-NEW UPDATE-thanks to many people-mother died in galveston tx-layed to rest at calvary cemetary-she was born july 5th 1912-died dec 17 1962- and the sister may have been maragret ann acree-adopted as a vann-born 8/15/1948-still checking-this has been so exciting just thinking we are getting close -thank u all for ur help-UPDATE-Maragret was located 4 days after the search with alot of help from other peoples resources-brother and sister have reunited and are expected to meet face to face on a vacation real soon-they are both very excited-maragret was married to a Travis in austin tx-thank u all so very much-God bless you all | |||||||||||||||||||||
