Query Text: |
Inez (Ina) Marie Ackerson b. 1872 Iowa. Sister of John Frank Ackerson b. 1873 Iowa. Father was James Simpson Ackerson b. N.Y.and mother was Nancy Louise Jones b. Indiana. Spouse to Ina was Enos J. Franklin b. 1860c. married 1887c. suspect Nebraska or South Dakota. 1885 Nebraska State census Midway Borough shows Inez as 13 and single. Then in 1888 first child, my grandmother, born 1888 Ethel Lorena Franklin Milbank Grant Co. South Dakota. Next Lila E. Franklin 1889 (Feb abt), Robert Guy Franklin 1891 Aug 8 Milbank Grant co. - d.1965 Kern Co. Cal. (Lila was later shown as Mrs Lila Johnson in Robert Franklin's obituary). Inez (Ina) died in 1893 (March abt) of Typhus in Milbank and I cannot find her grave (perhaps Twinbrooks). Even the historical society hasn't found anything. Girls were adopted out upon mothers death. Please I need something other than the 2 census records from Nebraska for Inez (Ina, Enos, & kids)if anyone has anything or suggestion at all as I have no real proof. Maybe a bible? Enos J. Franklin was a lay preacher for Methodist Church in Milbank South Dakota and possibly Missouri, Kansas from 1890 on. It's been a long search! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
