Query Text: |
I am looking for relatives of the Lawlor Family. My father was Emmett Michael Lawlor and he was born 0n 24 September 1914 in County Conamara. He had a twin brother called Jack and a sister Mary Lawlor, 11 months younger than he and then there was a younger brother Edward or Eddie. Eddie was married and had just one son called Martin Lawlor and they lives in Wales. Jack Lawlor disappeared but either to England or the USA. He had a son called Michael who was a policeman in London and a daughter called NOONA who I heard went to USA and married into a Jewish family. I have no relatives and I am trying to find my relatives. My father came to South Africa sometime in 1948 and then moved up to Rhodesia 2 years later. My mother Francis Bernadette Gould came from Youghal in County Cork and she followed him out to Africa in the fifties. My mother was an only child and had no brothers or sisters. Herr father's name was William Gould and he was a farmer outside Youghal. My name is Lydia Ann Lawlor and I have one brother who is William Michael Adrian Lawlor and we both live in Johannesburg South Africa after leaving Kitwe, Zambia where both my father and my mother died. I am looking for relatives that I may have and don't know about. My Auntie Mary lived at 8 Market Street, Galway, Eire. I met her in 1972 for the 1st time. She got married late in life to a John Connolly who was an Irish American who retired back to Ireland. They had no children. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
