Looking for information on William James Beavers b. July 1830 in NC. He married Sarah Ann (Sally) Bowlin in Whitley Co. KY in 1872. He owned a farm on Brown's Creek in Williamsburg, Whitley Co, KY. He died about 1910 and is buried in Cal Moses Cemetery, Dal, KY. His tombstone reads Co "C" 2nd NC Mtd. Inf. He changed his name to James William Beaver (dropping the s from the end of his name.
