 Johann Jacob Bahr was born in Metinzen,Wurtenburg Germany, 1832. He emigrated to the US and fought in the Civil War for the New York Heavy Artillery After the War he settled in Varina, Henrico County, Virginia. Does any one know of him and especially his wife's hosory? His War records do not reveal his wife's maiden name. She was also German.
