Believe the families knew each other in Ireland from the following found on Ros Davis'Down Genealogy site: "Miss BRIDGET FLYNN married Patrick Dougherty 14 JAN 1830 Ballynahinch Catholic Ch. witnesses were PATRICK MCLAY &JAMES FLINN"--Note the connection, too coincidental to pass up. But, don't know if these are my folk. Recent DNA points to Laughlin Flinn being in my line. Help me if you can. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
