I was born on October 24, 1955 at 1:00 PM. That is what the "amended" certificate says. In Long Beach, California at what is now Long Beach Memorial Hospital, I believe. From bits and pieces over the years, my mother could have been 16 at the time of pregnancy and her name may have been Ruby. My father may have played in the Elks Club #888, maybe, band? Many years ago, a friend of my mother's said I look just like my father. Whoever that was. The adoption was a private adoption. It was handled by the firm of Desmond & Desmond, Attorneys at law in Long Beach. I have no other information. I am looking for either parent or just information on them.
