I am searching for info on Henry Ward, my g-g-grandfather, 1843, who married Sarah Jane Kell on February 28, 1867 in Madison County, IL. The 1880 census shows them living in Omphghent, Madison County, IL. They do not appear in the 1900 census and family stories hint at a tragedy that occurred in the 1880s that left his 6 children (Charles R., Rebecca E., Ida, and Evaline) orphans. I am searching for info on his wife, Sarah Jane, and on his parents. I have no information on his parent’s names, but am sure they were both born in North Carolina. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
