I am searching for my birth-father. My birth-mother's name at the time of my birth was Imogene Kennison. She lived in Paris, TX at the time but gave birth to me in Dallas, TX where I was adopted from the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital a few weeks later. I found my birthmother 12 years ago, she says my fathers name is Donovan Gant (unsure of spelling). The circumstances surrounding my birth were unique as my birthmother already had 10 (ten) children ranging from 18 yrs to 2.5 years and she simply could not afford another child. What I've been told about my father: He was 50 yrs old in 1968, making his birth year around 1918. I do believe he had at least two other children at the time I was born in 1969. All of this adds up to Donovan (Don, Donny) be be 90 yrs old. I also know that Donovan is from North Carolina, but I do not know the city. Also, I just found out that one of my half-sister's is really a full sister and that we share the same birthfather, Donovan. My sister is 5 yrs older than I and she has two daughters and one grandchild. I will be 40 years old this year and though we are all getting older, it's a chapter of my life I'd like to complete. I want nothing from my father that he doesn't want, but I would like to talk to him if not meet him. My birthday is May 21, 1969 which means I was conceived in August of 1968. I am a caucasian female at 5'7", height/weight appropriate, I have straight dark brown hair and light blue eyes. I have a fair complexion with sensitive skin. I'm not sure what else to write but those are the facts. If I find my father, I'd like to send him pictures of my husband and my three daughters (20 yrs, 9 yrs, and 4 yrs old). I would dearly love to meet my half-siblings, too, and their families if they are interested. Chances are they don't even know I exist. Many blessings to anyone who reads this.
