I was born as Desiree Gebo or Desiree Dunning on December 22, 1963 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY Monroe County. My biological Mother was Norma Joan Gebo Dunning at that time. She was born in April 1932. I have met her, but she won't disclose the name of my biological father. She said he is dead and so is his whole family. She also stated at one time that his name was Bill SMith and that he died when I was 3. I don't associate with my birthmother, but just want to know the true story behind my adoption. I was adopted through Monroe County Department of Social Services in 1965 by Russel and Annabelle Howard who were also my foster parents since Christmas Eve of 1963. They are now deceased. Will someone please at least just give me the story or a name or even medical information please? I have a heart problem that they're pretty sure is genetic, but my biomother won't help.
