Searching for birth parents. I was born a girl in Erie, PA on May 28, 1979. The adoption was private and was not completed until June of 1981. My adopted family lived in New York, last name Marcus, and already had a 2 year old son named Scott. I was told that I was not handed over to adoptive parents until 2 weeks after birth because of issues with biological family. The case was handled by a male lawyer who has since passed away.
