I am searching for my birth mother. On my adoption papers it states that I was born as an african american child at the Morristown General Hospital on April 24, 1958 in Morristown, NJ. My birth name was Linda Baldwin. It was also noted that my birth mother worked as a lab technican, but I think she was sent to a place through a catholic church until I was born. I was taken to a Catholic Charity Orphanage in Hudson County and adopted via a Newark court at nine months of age. It is very difficult locating african american families, so if anyone has knowledge of a young woman that was sent away please come forward. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
