I am searching for.....rather we are searching for my sister who was givin up at the hospital before oour mother was discharged. She was born on April-22-1971 @ Rush presbyterian st Lukes or Cook county hospital at the time my mother was single and already had 3 of us to take care of and was unsure where her future would lead and why have another baby suffer through poverty. Anyway it ended up that my mother did marry the father of this sister a year after and has been with him since he is my father and has been for most of my life he has been good to us and my mother continued to work most of her life till heart disease and diabetes prevented her to continue. due to our family history as far as health i feel it is important for my sister to know certain things and my mother has always regreted doing what needed to be done at the time and would like to meet her if possible to explain why and see her daughter finally again. i myself as the eldest feel it is important and would love to meet her with my other sisters. my parents did have another child after who is her full sister and she also would like to meet her. the name on her birth certificate that i hold is Carol Rivera our mothers name is Rosa Riojas is her maiden name and her name now is Rosa Goscinski and my step father (her father's name is) Ronald Goscinski he was a detective for chicago police dept at the time of my sisters birth. i understand that this was done through catholic charities through the hospital and may still be on record there. we are not sure though my mother continued to work there for a total of 35 years. I am truly hoping to find her i was also told that the people who adopted her where living in arlington hts at the time and may have been from India origianlly and the wife could not have kids and the adopted father was older in age. again we want nothing other then to explain health and family and hopes to be able to get to know her and only wish the best for her.
