I'm searching for my mother's birth parent's, siblings or relatives related to her. My mother was born in Yarmouth Novia Scotia she has a twin sister who was adopted with her. They were born on october 19 1951 in St John hospital or Yarmouth not sure. I believe they were adopted straight from the hospital at 8 weeks old there names in the hospital were Betty Lou and Linda Lou, i believe they weighed 5lbs 7 oz and 5lbs 7 and a half oz. Her mother's name is Sylvia Mary Stanley she was born in Lancashire England United Kingdom. Her father's name is Stewart Eldin Lockhart he was born in Halifax Nova Scotia. He was in the 8th Canadian Hussars military. A sergeant in the army i believe world war 2 They lived in Pettawawa at camp gagetown in 1963. Stewart has a brother name David E Lockhart. In june 1970 he lived at 33 Maple Ave Wolfville King Co. Nova Scotia. He has a sister named Edna Mascarin and May Lockhart i beleive there are 13 siblings David,Edna,May,Ruth,Irene,Jenny,Genie. My mother and sister had their first communion at St. Georges chapel in Petawawa Ont. My mother beleives her god parent's are the Macauleys. The only other information i have i'm not sure if this is relevant or not is: On there birth certificate in the left hand corner the number is 181701 the date of registration October 24 1951, registration number 015464, the registration date is September 25 1957, the clerks name is Betty, the deputy registar general was J. Shohanen. Also one of her mother's siter is Peggy and she had twins; named Hazel and Denise, who also had baby girl twins. This is all the information I have if any of this sounds familiar please let me know, now that I am a grown adult now and there is a void in my life and I desperately would like to very much find my siblings.
