Ormsby McKnight Mitchel (1843-1875) born in Ohio, died in Paris May 1875 buried? I am looking for the burial place of OMM. I know he died in Pais in May 1875, but have confirmation of a grave in St Annes church Detroit, with the burial recorded in December 1875, by the current priest. He died in a hotel near the Pere-Lachaise cemetery in Paris. Was he shipped home to detroit or buried in Paris did his wife organise a grave as a marker and a death record in detroit for him? jennifer
