My mother > was she legally adopted in 1930 She was born July 10 1929 birth mother Helen Ellen Nichols Grayson at the time her husband name Ike Grayson they divorce papers state the child was not his. The only grandmother and grandfathet I ever knew was Nannie and Roy Hatcher, they kept all above a secret. Now Im old and everyone has passed away and searching for answers. Who was my grandfather since I know my real grandmother was Helen now. Nannies bible has written my moms birth date and another date with name Frances Lucille Hatcher but was she gave to them or legal adopted? June 19 1930 All the above took place in Knox county Tennessee All born and died in Knoxville TN How can I find the answer?
