I am looking for any and all information on Katherine Kavanaugh, My Great Grandmother. She married Sergeant James Allen of the 2nd Glosters Regiment/British Army, sometime in the late 1880's. They had 3 daughters. Sgt Allen I believe served in the Boer War and in 1901 Census Katherine Allen is listed as "wife of soldier" and living in Plymouth!
