All I know about my Great Grandfather was that his name was David Louis Strickel and he was an attorney possibly in Lubbock,Tx. Rumor has it that he killed a hired hand on his ranch and lost his fortune in land holdings in the process of defending himself. My Grandfather, DL Strickel died from mendengitous when my father was 4 years old. My father was DL (or Dee) Strickel died of suiside in 1992. I am related by marrage to the Hogg family name (Gilbert and Tiny) from the Lubbock,Tx area. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
