Query Text: |
I am searching for my birth parents or any relatives thereof. I have my adoption papers and I am listed as Baby Girl Teeter. I don't know if Teeter was my mother's maiden or married name. My adoptive parents, who have both passed away, were Helen R and Kenneth F. Long. I was born in Hayward, California September 24, 1952. The story I got from "Mom" was that I was concieved at a reunion in Iowa. I obtained the following information from the California Department of Social Services. It is Non-identifying information. My mother was 25 years old at the time of my birth. My father was 28. They were both married but not to each other. They were both born in Iowa, but my mother had been living in California for two years when I was born. The adoption was arranged through my birth mother's physician. My birth father was not informed of the pregnancy. My birth mother was Caucasian, 5' 5" inches tall, slender figure, straight brown hair, hazel eyes and a fair complexion. She had been employed as a dental assistant and enjoyed sewing and played the piano and violin. She had one older sister and a younger sister and an older brother who had been killed in combat. My father was Caucasian, 6' tall, medium build and broad shoulders, brown hair and blue eyes. He had a cleft/dimpled chin. He was employed as a welder in a factory. He had 5 or more siblings. He also had two children that would be my half-siblings. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
