Looking for information on EUGENE BUCKINGHAM b. 6 Dec 1865(death certificate says Texas) d. 29 Aug 1950, buried in Laurel Land Cemetery, Ft. Worth, Tx. He had a twin sister, MARY FANNY BUCKINGHAM. His father was PIERCE BUCKINGHAM b England and his mother was b Mass. He married MARY ELLA BELL b. 24 Oct 1871, Tx. d. 18 Feb 1958, buried along side her husband. Mary Ella's parents were: ROBERT E. BELL b. 25 Jan 1851 and MATTIE ROBINSON. They married on 21 Aug 1870. Other children of Robert and Mattie were: 1. LAURA ELIZABETH BELL b. 9 April 1873 2. ANNE BELL b. 20 May 1875 3. Several families believe EUGENE BUCKINGHAM to have been born in England, came to America as a youngster and was an orphan BUT one family says he was a full blood Cherokee, from an unrecognized band of Cherokee's living in and around Longview, Texas.
