I am hoping to find information about James MASON [b 1834 in Windlesham Surrey UK]. In 1861 he was living with his family in Witley Surrey, UK. [Wife Sarah SLANEY, children Mary 5, Ann 4, Elizabeth 2 and Aaron 3 months]. I believe he emigrated to NEW ZEALAND after this time, taking his oldest daughter Mary with him. It is his life in New Zealand that I am anxious to trace. One of his other daughters, Ann MASON [b. 1857 Windlesham] is my great grandmother. She married William FREEMAN in 1887 [Eakring, Notts UK], and lived and died in South Normanton, Derbyshire UK. Can anyone in the UK or NEW ZEALAND help please? Wendy
