I need desperate help!! For years...and I mean YEARS I have been researching my husbands grandfathers family and come up empty handed. OK... In October 1924 in Comanche County (Lawton Oklahoma) Burnie Hubert Roberson and Jennie May Roberson (Brown) gave a baby up for adoption. Before giving him to the adoptive family they named him Lenox Roberson. Jennie Roberson (Brown) told the adopted mother that she was full blooded indian and she had 4 other children at home...her husband was crippled so she could not take care of the baby. He was white...light complected with red hair I think. Burnie Roberson was born in Mississippi and so was Jennie Brown....later Roberson. I need help to find ANY information on this family!!
