Looking for relatives of Almira C. Powell (b. about 1840-50, on Dec 28), of Sunapee, New Hampshire, USA. Her maiden name was probably Currier, and her first name was sometimes spelled Elmira. She was most likely (not 100% positive) married to Sylvester H. Powell (b. Dec 04, 1845 in Concord), also of Sunapee. Almira survived at least until 1919. Sylvester was in the G.A.R. 16th Regiment, NH Volunteers. Almira may have had a young relative (nephew or grand-nephew?) named Vincent Allen Currier, and she definitely had a brother named Ed. If anyone can tell me if the Elmira Powell in the 1919 Sunapee City Directory and Almira C.
