Looking for birthparent. My birth certificate says I was born in Beaumont Texas, Jefferson County. My adopted mother said the adoption was through the Welfare Dept. and that the birth mother was going to jail. This was 1967. My birthdate on the birth certificate is January 20, 1967. We lived in Beaumont for a while, then Louisiana. My adopted father went to LSU around 1969-1971. My adoptive parents had a biological male child named Jeff, born in 1964. I have brown curly hair, brown eyes, 5'5". I have a birthmark on my ankle bone that is shaped like a heart. According to my adopted mother, my biological mother was going to jail. My adopted mother was a case worker in Beaumont and she took me home with her and then subsequently adopted me.
