My name is Rebecca Beale Browning. I was born on June 9, 1953 at Touro hospital in New Orleans, LA. My birth mother lived at the Volunteers of America home for several months before giving birth to me. I was adopted December 1, 1953. I am looking for my birth parents and siblings. I was given the name of Ethel Jernigan when I was born. I understand my mother was born in Georgia possibly and moved to Alabama before going to New Orleans to give birth to me. My birth mothers name is Dorothy Ann Jernigan, this is what I have been told. The Jernigan name may be my fathers last name .If anyone knows any information please contact me.
