~MALE born 16th August,1943 Germiston area~ I am looking for birth parents or any family I may have.I was born with blue eyes and fair skin and hair. I was adopted by an Australian couple, Mary and Hugh Gordon who returned to Australia in 1944 with me. I was raised an only child and both my adoptive parents passed away some time ago. I only found a few letters a couple of days ago to discover I was adopted. I have little else to go on. My father known as Peter Gordon worked at the Germiston Golf Club.late 1930's - 44. I found an old letter from Mother M Columba,O.S.F. Franciscan Convent, Madera, Soroti P.O. Uganda, dated 14th Feb 1944 with blessings to my mother and her new adopted child. I was Baptized Patrick Anthony Gordon on the 16th August at St. Augustines Catholic Church,Germiston. My Mother was a very devout Catholic, so I would assume that I was adopted from a Catholic organization. Would love to know more about my genes now. Hope you can help in some way. Tony Gordon.
