I am looking for information concerning Henry Parkis and/or Jane Shearer and their ancestors. Jane Shearer married Vincent Jackson in Kentucky prior to 1815. Vincent Jackson died in Kentucky about 1821. Jane (Shearer) Jackson married Henry Parkis and they moved by 1823 to Pike County Missouri. Around 1825 the family moved across the Mississippi River to Pike County Illinois where they remained until their deaths.
