I am searching for information on my GG grandfather, Philander H Jones. He was born in Vermont around 1813 or 1814. He married Lydia Ann Jewett on May 5, 1836 in Oakland County, Michigan. He taught in Michigan and Indiana, and later retired to Kansas. I presume that is where he died, but I don't have any information. There is another Philander Jones born in Vermont around 1812, so one needs to be careful to find the right person. Any info would be appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
